ok, wait... maybe I do like dating websites.

I gave it another shot...I purchased a subscription. Yes, I am now officially looking for love... it could be included in 'all the wrong places' but we'll see! To my surprise, I have been matched with some pretty cool guys! I can now see all of their pictures and such, so it makes the process WAY easier! Anyways, I recently have been talking to this guy... he's really sweet! We have all of the same beliefs, and like all the same things! We have had great email conversations.. been pretty open and honest with each other. Well, he asked me out on a date. It made me a little nervous! I thought "ok, now I'm a dorky, desperate, online dater"... I am a little embarrassed that I signed up for this thing in the first place... Why sign up if I'm not going to meet any of them though right? well... it was last night. Went to a local show. Not gonna lie, my favorite spot for a first encounter! It was laid-back... and there were no awkward forced conversation moments because it was loud and extremely crowded! So... as it turns out... I shouldn't wear heels when meeting a 5'8" guy... I shouldn't get my hopes up too high... and I shouldn't expect an automatic connection. BUT it was fun. More fun than I've had in a long time. With a guy. Not sure if anything else will come of this, I doubt it. He was way too... brotherly. More buddy-buddy than anything else. BUT there are a few hopefuls out there. I honestly don't know if any of them are promising but they have SO much in common with me. I was matched with a guy today that I think is perfect for me, but he lives 5 hours away... :( Oh well. I'm just more hopeful now about this dating website than I was at the beginning. We'll see what happens! Come what may!

Dressing up :-D

This is just about as fancy as I could dress coming to work. But it was valentines day and I wanted to wear something spiffy! (that's a fancy word for dressy) The tights I wore were elvis... :D




So... New Years has always been pretty mundane. (that's a fancy word for dull) I have always seen people dress up on New Years and I wanted to play too! I decorated fancy and dressed up fancy! Love it! :)




Here I am on Halloween as "FANCY NANCY" She is my absolute favorite children's book character. She makes every day fancy with little things... and she uses fancy words! She is adorable! (that's a fancy word for cute)

SNOW in TEXAS!

I'm not gonna lie... When I live in a place where it snows a lot... I HATE IT! however... I am in texas and we don't see this stuff very often. Well... believe it or not... It snowed in TEXAS!
Here's Ms. Beth and I at work... I love having a job where I can run around and play in the snow and get paid for it!

I DON'T like dating websites.

Woops! Got a little desperate there for a minute. Anyone ever heard of that dating website Eharmony? Yeah, thought so... Well... Turns out it's just kind of... MEAN! haha... It teases you with these guys who seem so great... then when you try and talk to them... Eharmony gets all possessive on ya and knocks the wind out of you! I tried to communicate with this one guy who seemed, well, too good to be true... and Mr. E blocked me from communicating with this guy in ANY form. I took matters into my own hands. I searched for him. I went on facebook and found him in two clicks! It was so easy... I searched for his first name, city/state, and job description. There he was... in all his glory... HAH! I sent him an email explaining that he was 'matched' with me on Eharmony. Told him I'm not a creeper or a stalker... that I just didn't have a subscription on Eharmony (because I'm not desperate enough to PAY to meet someone... but I didn't mention that) yet. Well... lo' and behold he goes and removes me from his match list. I mean... Isn't facebook just the free version of eharmony?? Everyone google searches people, right? I'm not a stalker! :( Shooooot Foooooooooo! You don't know ME!!!

I am so not impressed. Sarah on the other hand is extremely excited to be there.. Kassie is behind us dressed as a dragon... and Indira is wishing she was back in India with her OWN traditions.
